    Principal's Weekly Message

Good evening Magnolia Families! Thank you all for your hard work and generosity! You helped Magnolia earn the most donations ever for our Jog-a-thon! We earned $40,679.70 for our school, teachers, and students and enough that Mrs. Minaudo and I will have to be T-Rexes for the day! Thank you all for your support! This week, students will have an opportunity to show their math fluency skills with our Principals’ Math Tests. Tuesday our TK class has their field trip to the Bloomingcamp Ranch. Wednesday is Magnolia Day/Night Out at Cocina Michoacana! This local restaurant is generously donating a portion of all of their sales on Wednesday directly to our PTC. Enjoy a great meal (or two) on Wednesday and help support our PTC! It is a win-win for all! Also on Wednesday, our 2nd-grade students and Ms. Benbow’s and Mr. Prather’s classes have a field trip to OHS to see the student production of Shrek. Thursday are picture retakes for anyone who missed pictures or needs them to be redone. Friday marks the end of our 1st Trimester. Next Monday our GATE students have their field trip to the Gallo Center to see Robinson Crusoe. Also, next Monday kicks off our annual Red Ribbon Week. There are special activities and dress up days planned all week. Monday’s theme is “Band together against drugs” and it is “Bandana Day”. Also, beginning on Monday, we have our Halloween Gram sales. Halloween Grams will be available for purchase at lunch and after school in front of our Auditorium. Our Paper Bag Drive also continues next week.  Keep collecting and donating paper bags for Community Sharing so we can reach our goal of 1,000 bags. I hope you have a wonderful week to come!
